Background
Lawson Homes Tasmania is family owned business founded in 1990 by Ken and Kym Lawson. We can proudly say that the company quickly established itself as one of Tasmania’s foremost home construction companies. We started with a vision “to build high quality homes which realise value for money for their owners”.

Since then we have built hundreds of homes, extensions, and units, as well as several small commercial projects. We also do home remodelling and renovations if you feel it’s time to give your home a fresh makeover.

Lawson Homes Tasmania prides itself on its loyal and highly skilled team. We work closely with our clients to ensure complete satisfaction with all aspects of the building process.

In 2000 we extended our business to become a part of the Craftsman Homes group. Craftsman Homes is a national network of independent builders whose designs have won more than 80 building industry awards. We trade as ‘Craftsman Homes Northern Tasmania’ and ‘Craftsman Homes Hobart’ so you can choose from more than 300 different home designs. Our range is regularly updated with the latest and most innovative designs to suit all budgets, land sizes and personal requirements. Lawson Homes Tasmania is affiliated with nationally recognised building bodies including the Master Builders Association (MBA), Housing Industry Association (HIA), and the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA).

Lawson Homes has been recognised by both the MBA and HIA and is a winner of multiple Tasmanian Housing Awards.

Community involvement
Lawson Homes is actively involved in the community and sponsor and support a variety of community groups, local athletes and sporting clubs. We are proud to be player sponsors of the Launceston Tornadoes in the SEABL, with our involvement spanning more than 10 years.

Lawson Homes is excited to announce the introduction of the Lawson Homes Cycling Team. The team has been established to give young cyclists support and encouragement to develop their skills as cyclists and provides them with the opportunity to be part of a team. The team members are to be committed to actively promoting the sport, dedicated to do their best, be good role models and show sportsmanship of the highest level.
