+ Things to consider when buying land

  • Check whether service connection points are available (water, power, sewer etc).
  • Contact the local Council regarding planning requirements or possinle building restrictions.
  • Obtain a copy of any Covenants and easements.
  • Has there been a soil test done on the site? If so, obtain a copy and discuss with your builder.
  • Be mindful of any bushfire risks as this can add to building costs.
  • Consider the topography of the land (sloping site, exposed rock, Aurora Power lines etc).
  • If unsure, seek professional advice.

  • We know that you will want to visit your home during construction and will be pleased to arrange for a fully escorted on site inspection at each stage.

  • We give you a handover kit with copies of manuals, permits and helpful advice.
  • We hand you the keys and you move in!
